This week marks the 8th Anniversary of the start of Rovernighter. We officially launched on our CCO (Chief Canine Officer) Bronwyn's birthday - the 3rd of November. We held a launch party and a joint birthday for our wonderful girl.
It's been an interesting and eventful ride these last 8 years. From launching, going to Crufts, the National Pet Show and various other events, where people have loved our products and we've had great fun meeting them. To being shortlisted and chosen as the face of Virgin Voom (well the Rovernighter and Bronwyn were). To filming Dragon's Den and having Bronwyn as the star of the show, which goes without saying, she always is! To being featured in campaigns for Forest Holidays and for the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire's dog-friendly - Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa, at Bolton Abbey, to winning an SBS award from Theo Papthis, we've had a really interesting and exciting 8 years.
We will raise a glass or two on Friday to celebrate our anniversary and our CCO's birthday - no party for her this year, but her present is already here and I'm sure she'll have a few treats and surprises and possibly a weekend away with her Rovernighter. There is talk of visiting her homeland (she is a Welsh Terrier after all) and possibly a trip to Barrybados aka Barry Island, which she loves, particularly the 'barking tunnel' and the gull organising! All whilst singing loudly - Land of my Fathers - ok it's not really that it's more likely to be barking insults at the gulls! But a terrier has to have some fun after all.
Thank you for all your support for the last 8 years and here's to the next 8!
Enjoy your travels.
Ruth, Bron and the Rovernighter Team.
